America Marvel
President & Publisher

America Marvel (she/her) is the President and Publisher of Edina Publishers. She has been writing stories since she was a kid. She has a Bachelor's from a religious university in Idaho, where she studied photography, horticulture, and how to get married. It was there that she met her future partner, Julia Sanders. She now enjoys reading LGBTQ+ romances, a lot of nonfiction, and hanging out with her dogs. She is currently working on her debut novel, a historical fiction called Viking's Daughter.

Julia Sanders
Vice President & Publisher

Julia Sanders (she/her) is the Vice President of Edina Publishers. Julia is also a social media contributor for Mormon history, with her page Analyzing Mormonism. 

Julia is a mom and a collector of pets. She earned her undergraduate degree in Idaho, majoring in English Literature. Julia started writing books in kindergarten and is a regular for NaNoWriMo—she's completed it four and a half times!

Samantha Nimmo 
Editor & Marketing Manager

Samantha Nimmo (she/they) is a Scottish mum, writer and editor. She has a BA (Hons) in English Studies and an MLitt in Creative Writing, as well as being the recipient of two writing awards.
Alongside working with Edina, Sam is a freelance developmental editor, writing coach and ghostwriter. Across all services, they specialize in fantasy, paranormal, romance and queer fiction. Being neurodivergent and disabled, Sam is passionate about representation in literature and loves getting the chance to work with authors who are as excited about queer, diverse books as she is.

Tove Innis

Tove Innis (they/them) is a Georgia-born, New York-raised word nerd and hardcore descriptivist. As a disabled and neurodivergent human, they're passionate about accessibility and inclusion in both digital and analog spaces. They love naps, plants, tattoos, and sweet tea. Adrianna Schow

Adrianna Schow (she/her) has been married to a man for eleven years. She studied Business Management and music, but English was her favorite class. She is a connoisseur of crafts, including soapmaking, watercolor, and sewing. She runs Marvel Photography

Sarah Waites 
Cover Designer

Sarah Waites is the designer behind The Illustrated Page Book Design. She got her start in the traditional NYC publishing scene and holds a certificate in publishing from Columbia Unversity Then, she switched her skills and energy to helping indie authors suceed. Ilana Weitz 
Editor

Ilana Weitz (she/her) has been an avid reader and writer since elementary school, when she used to stay up all night to finish the newest Goosebumps or Animorphs release by flashlight. She studied Communication and Public Administration and has worked for various nonprofits. Experienced in editing everything from academic journal articles to press releases, Ilana branched out to editing her first fiction novel in 2022. When she’s not lost in a book or working on her own stories, she can be found playing with her dog, Pippin (she’s a huge Lord of the Rings fan), running, or working on Culture Jumpers, a podcast she co-creates with her husband.

Cait Tyler

Cait Tyler (she/her) is a lifelong learner with a knack for words and a passion for the stories that stem from them. She has a BA from the University of Cape Town, with majors in Philosophy, English Language & Literature, and Religious Studies, as well as a postgraduate degree in Literary Studies. When she’s not editing and writing, she is involved in a South African gaming startup called FLOWSTATE. Cait also adores zombie movies but would be one of the first people to die in an apocalypse.

Cassie Pearse

Cassie Pearse (she/her, they/them) is a developmental and copy editor who is passionate about helping people share their very best words. Originally from the UK, she lived in Mexico for many years before moving to Spain in 2022. She has a travel blog (mexicocassie.com) and has written two books about Mexico, both of which are available on Amazon. When not working, Cassie can generally be found bouncing around in the hills and on beaches, or even hugging a tree (ok, ok, definitely hugging trees).

Lisa Caro

Lisa Caro is an Australian mum who spends far too much time reading and has far too many unfinished writing projects (and refuses to count them). She has a Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing and Publishing) and has been editing and proofreading for around a year - but did a lot of beta reading prior to that. She has edited/proofread novels written by UK, US and NZ authors. 

Alice Sudlow

Alice Sudlow (she/her) is a developmental editor and bookworm. She helps authors turn struggling rough drafts into un-put-downable published novels. She's also the host of the Your Next Draft podcast, where she shares her best tips and strategies to edit a novel. Autumn Siders

Autumn Siders is an author, editor, and cat whisperer. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire where she also minored in Spanish and Music. In addition to her undergraduate work at UNH, she also holds a certificate in copyediting. She manages an independent bookstore and is the author of several collections of poetry, a collection of short stories, and the E.M. Sanchez children's mysteries. When her cat kicks her out of the house, she splits her time between avoiding people and silently correcting their grammar. Outside of work, she enjoys getting lost in nature, talking to animals, and reading voraciously. Her website is autumnsiders.com.

Jess King (she/her) has been writing and editing her whole life, and jumped at the chance to make it a professional endeavour when she entered the workforce. She is passionate about helping writers reach their full potential and crafting documents to perfection. Emma Wallis

Emma Wallis is a British author and editor. In her day job she writes promotion and engagement for a health organisation, but in the past she’s worked in a library, a prison, and a warehouse. Her debut novel won the runner-up award in the New Author category in the Lesfic Bard Awards 2020. She has also published short stories, one anthology, activity books, and a collection of children’s LGBT information books. Emma lives on the South Coast of England with her daughter and two sausage dogs. Her website is emmawallis.com.

Kate Koehler-Platten

Kate Koehler-Platten (They/Them) is a queer nonbinary middle-aged human pursuing their most authentic (and therefore best) life. They believe that authenticity and bravery go hand in hand. They have a double major degree in Psychology and Theatre and a Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and experience proofing audiobooks. They love to read, plan and host themed birthday parties and personalized escape rooms, hang out with their teenagers, listen to people’s stories, and connect with the queer community. They were a theatre kid growing up and love all kinds of performances. What it all comes down to is that they love stories in all forms.
